Right now in Standard I think that makes the card iffy for multicolor decks, but Dread Fugue is right at home in Mono-Black Midrange where casting it Turn 1 is basically free

This to me is a really attractive extra cost on top of the 1UU to cast it, and I can see it being roughly five mana and tapping some creatures to get this effect
