This excellent card-drawing artifact has all the makings of a card youd expect to be super expensive, but numerous reprints have kept it in the realm of mortals
That said, this is where I'm taking the deck: Add another staple board wipe Add more Eldrazi Add GY hate Start upgrading the lands Additions: The single best upgrade the deck isn't actually any of the Eldrazi Titans, it's Ugin, the Spirit Dragon: this is yet another one-sided board wipe for our deck, allowing us to spend the early turns ramping, drop Ugin to wipe our opponents and catch up on board, then start dropping our haymakers
Unexpectedly Absent is a flexible piece of removal because you can use it to bury an opponent's best permanent or you can cast it for X=0 to give them a huge tempo hit when they've cast something expensive and you'd rather not see them untap with it next turn
Scout for Survivors Rating: 4/10 If all you can do is reanimate one creature with a +1/+1 counter, Scout for Survivors likely isnt worth running
