In Taiwan, the Black Leaf variety is grown in large plantations. In Madagascar, the Mauritus variety is hand harvested from wild trees (which are untreated) that can be over 100 years old and are still producing! The lychee puree has a rich aromatic profile, expressed through rose notes, particularly from the Black Leaf variety. It also
