19th Century Burr Walnut Tunbridge Ware Box Antiquarian Books Diameter (at widest point): 10cmA stunning 19th century burr walnut Tunbridge Ware box. The top and front of the box is cross banded with tulipwood, with a mother of pearl top escutcheon and key escutcheon and a professionally relined interior. There are few very small scuffs to the box in places consistent with age, and please note that the box does not have its key, however overall it remains a very good condition. A lovely example of exceptional 19th century craftsmanship.
