Even in an Un -set friendly game this has literal zero merit outside of maybe winning the game, and seems like more of a hassle to track than anything

I dont really have a reason for it being so expensive except that its in low supply to be honest

White has traditionally had major problems with ramp of any kind, so this card is bound to be a welcome staple in the format now

That said, its power level is quite high, and like Mana Leak or Lightning Bolt being in Standard, it will be a defining component of the game during its entire life in the format
