The dragon was originally an antique stick pin (circa 1910-1920) that our jeweler transformed by removing the pin stem and welding on a moveable 14k gold bail

and it is in good condition with some chipping to the enamel (visible under magnification)

with its whimsical character perfectly preserved

The finely rendered piece depicts an eastern towhee bird on a blooming branch. The piece measures 1. 4 inches from the top of the bail (when raised) by 1. 1 inch wide.
