The reel is in excellent shape, both cosmetically and mechanically. The original ebonite handle spins freely as it should. The springs are nice and tight. Gear teeth and dual pawls are in great shape with sharp points. The tensioner works flawlessly. The original ribbed brass reel foot has not been filed. Includes a replacement Orvis case.
