飴色に育った可愛らしい野点用の茶籠です。

この手のものは、おそらく日本にも、数えるほどしか入っていないはずです。

よく使い込まれた木味、虫喰いやほつれ具合が良い雰囲気です。

古い入れ子の蓋つき籠です。日本のものか、西洋のものかいまひとつはっきりしないのですが、四つ組の入れ子で、ころんとした可愛らしい形をしています。

本品は珍しい小壺タイプのアンダーソン土器です。状態は良好で、大きな補修等はありません。頸から胴にかけて描かれている力強い幾何学文様には人々の願いが込められた呪術的意味があると言われています。本作はそういった魅力を十分に備えており、古代の土器の魅力をお楽しみいただけると思います。
