風土：馬恩河自古便是將香檳運往巴黎的重要渠道，此產區跨距數百公里，風土組成複雜多變。東邊Aÿ特級村附近延續漢斯山的白堊土，適合種植黑皮諾與夏多內。往西土壤中的黏土與砂質比例增加，加上寒涼的氣候，促使當地人選擇慕尼耶為主要品種。而埃佩爾內市以南的丘陵區為過度區，部分地區如受白丘地質影響，主要生產慕尼耶與夏多內。
