There are some important things to look at when deciding if the experience is for you

I think I would only look to play this if I had big life costs in other areas of my deck, perhaps as a hedge/SB card against burn

It allows you to look at the top of your deck at any time, and you can play the top card of your library if it's a land and an opponent has more lands in play than you

But given that Thousand Moons Smithy comes down and makes a Karn-struct thats reasonably large right away in an affinity deck and then also likely flips the next turn, this seems like a nice artifacts top end, especially because Barracks of the Thousand is an artifact land
