It has wonderful dark purple leaves, red flower spikes and deep blue purple flowers that open to reveal the yellow pollen inside. The plant is similar in appearance to T. aeranthos. This is a very rarely offered species. Otherwise easy to grow with bright light and regular misting. These are small plants available.
