浅く開いた端正な碗形で、口縁は薄く外へ開き、胴から高台へかけてすっきりと収まっています。

この工夫茶の為に作られていたのが半月形の潮州式の茶杯です。

ぐにゃりと口がひしゃげ、花を呼ぶ佇まい。
